Colfes was well represented at this year's Kent County netball trials. Girls from schools all over Kent spent an intense day being scrutinised by Kent county coaches for a spot on the U14 squad. Having won the U12 Kent tournament, 7 members of the U12 team had been invited to trial. Read more...
Charlie Whittaker – National Schools Judo Silver Medallist
Charlie Whittaker from Year 11 successfully fought for Colfe’s earlier in the year at the British Schools Judo Championships held at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield. Alex Smith Selected For England U16A Rugby Team
On the 3rd April I travelled to Wellington College to play in an international rugby festival. On Sunday 4th April we played against Scotland, which was one of the hardest games I have played in, even bigger than being on the bench for Saracens Storm (the 2nd team, which includes some 1st team players) against Bath 'A'. I played inside centre against Scotland and this was a position I hadn't played in for a few years. Read more...
Thomas Jewers Represents Colfe's in the SE England Schools Cup Final
Many congratulations to Thomas Jewers, who last night (Thursday, 13th May) represented Colfe's school in the South East England Schools Cup final (Kent V Sussex). Kent won 2-1. Thomas was forced to play the match with his ankle strapped up due to torn ligaments, but he was so determined to play there was no way of stopping him. Thomas was also told by the U18's manager that he will continue to be in the squad for the forthcoming years.
