Leisure Centre

Colfe's Leisure Centre offers a welcoming atmosphere for all of its members and their guests. Our staff are First Aid Qualified aswell as being National Pool Lifeguard Qualified (NPLQ) reinforcing our duty to the safety and welfare of our swimmers.

The Centre comprises a 25 metre six lane Swimming Pool, two Fitness Suites, a large Sports Hall which accomodates six badminton courts and three Tennis Courts. We also have hiring facilities for indoor cricket nets and outdoor activities on the astroturf pitch.

We are continually looking to offer new and exciting activities to our members (many of which are free):

All courses and classes are open to both members and non-members so you don't even have to join the Centre to take part in our activities, just come along by yourself or with your friends and enjoy the active & fun atmosphere.

Dan, Dan the Marathon Man !!

Well done to Duty Manager Daniel Ousby in his latest challenge with an excellent time of 4 hours and 19 minutes in the London Marathon. He had hoped to beat the 4 hour mark but the latter stages took their toll...there's always next year?? Daniel raised in excess of £1500 for his chosen charity, SeeAbility, so a big thank you goes out to all those members who kindly sponsored him, it's was all for a great cause.

New classes for adults !! Combat - Running Club - Medicine Ball

Why not try out our new classes and feel invigorated. Our Combat class will help you relieve the stresses and strains of the working week, channeling all that energy into every enjoyable session. Our Running Club every Saturday morning in the pleasant surroundings of the school grounds is sure to re-energise and relax you for the start of the weekend. Welcome - Membership Now Available!

We offer a wide range of fitness related activities to help you to fulfil your personal fitness goals. We have trained fitness instructors who can provide you with advice and guidance on the use of the equipment and help you to devise a programme of activities. There are early morning sessions and, during the school holidays, afternoon sessions. Ladies only sessions are available on Sundays from 0900-1000.

The Leisure Centre is run by Colfe's Leisure Services Ltd, a company wholly owned by Colfe's School. During the school day the school makes extensive use of the facilities but outside of school hours the facilities are available for use by members of the public. Membership is open to all and the membership packages offer superb value for money.
